If you wish to improve, be content
to appear clueless or stupid in extraneous matters --
don't wish to seem knowledgeable.
And if some regard you as important, distrust yourself.

You don’t have to know everything and never pretend to know something you actually know nothing about. Be humble about your knowledge. Furthermore, shun those who have an answer for everything and insist they know better than anyone else.
