Day 17
Flathead National Forest, Montana
Staircase
I was captivated by this waterfall. This is “Silver Staircase Falls” in Glacier National Park. This type of waterfall is referred to as a “Cascade” falls.
The stair steps are formed by alternating layers of hard and soft sedimentary rock.
