Thought For The Day
- Remember to serve others.

And so begins Day 90… “The weather continues sunny and warm.”
I’m starting to think that doing 30 miles a day is more enjoyable than doing 75 miles a day… The only problem with 30 miles a day is you don’t go very far and it would take a long time to go any distance. After averaging 53 a day it also takes some mental adjustment, that’s for sure.
In terms of adjustment, I stopped for breakfast, I stopped for lunch, I stopped for a snack, and I stopped to talk to another Cyclist along the road. Oh, and I’m into my campground early enough to set up, take a nap, and have a fire tonight.
Tomorrow i’m stepping up the game. I’m going to do a whopping 36 miles. It will be mostly uphill, but it’s not going to be the big climb. The big climb will be Monday. After that it will be a meander into Bar Harbor.

More views you don’t see from a car window.

I wanted to get off the bike and hike down there in the worst way.

We chatted for a long time before he took off.

Apple fritter muffins for dessert tonight. It should go very well with my chicken penne pasta. All I need to do is remember to take the desiccant out of the bag before I add the hot water.
