Thought #23
- Remember to serve others.
So close to a Century…. and yet so far.
Today, rather than try and write anything cohesive, I’m just going to splatter you with random thoughts. CAUTION: You’re about to find out how my mind truly works.
There could be something wrong with me. Each morning I’m excited to get on the road.
Nice paved 4 mile long cycle way to start the morning!
The ACA and I are going our separate ways. I’m renaming this route the GREATUS: Great Ride East Across The U.S.
I should write a letter to the Netherlands Department of Immigration to see if they’ll let me immigrate. We all deserve to live in a country that has good affordable healthcare and takes care of its Seniors.
There’s still something to be said for direct experience, but iPhones are handy for posting.
The corn is much more sophisticated in Illinois, it’s not sweating like the corn in Iowa.
Traffic is light, it’s very quiet and peaceful. I can hear the birds and the sound of my tires on the roadway.
I’m in the land of Lincoln so I won’t tell you any lies, at least until I get to Indiana or Washington DC, whichever one comes last.
Dairy farms don’t smell very nice.
Occasionally, you’ll see a huge round boulder in a farmer’s front yard. These are called glacial erratics.
Old towns often paint signs and murals on the side of old buildings.

For you. (Whomever you are…)

Painted signs and murals are the best.
A Brooks No. 17 Bicycle Saddle
