I managed a 32 mile ride this week but it did not present a huge challenge in terms of climbing. I continued to work on gathering my gear ready and my bike prepped. I now have new shoes and new SPD pedals. The old ones were pretty worn out. I’m very excited despite my lack of ability to get out on the road and test my mettle.
