Progressivism And Religion
When it comes to religions in America, I am probably an anomaly. I left the Methodist Church, the Mormon Church, and the Catholic Church because they were not progressive enough.
When it comes to who will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, given that inheritance is real and that inheritance is open to everyone, it will certainly not be one and only one particular faith, and it will likely not be the uncaring rich and those who espouse a nationalist philosophy to the exclusion of people that don’t look like they do; it will be the poor, the sick, the oppressed, the exploited, the displaced and the rejected.
It is a puzzle to me why it is so hard to remember those ideas.
