Poetry Challenge Day 144 (Fri Feb 25)
I can’t find the words
to tell you how much I love you.
Even though we are from
different mothers
(as the phrase goes)
you are unquestionably my brother.
Everything
(OK, almost everything)
positive in my life has been
the result of your influence.
It is safe to say
I would be a very different person
had we never met.
I will never let you go,
you will always be a part of me.
If it is possible to meet
beyond this life
you are the first man
I will be looking for.
