Oh,
What a lucky man
I am.
I’ve never worn white lace.
I’ve never slept in linen.
I’ve never fought a war.
Oh,
I’m still a lucky man
I am.
I have found love.
It doesn’t get much
luckier than that.
Naturally my apologies to ELP. One of the best anti-war songs of the ’60’s along with “For What It’s Worth,” by Buffalo Springfield.
